• Public outreach to inform private landowners, general public, governmental agencies, city planners, and other Oklahoman’s to the benefits of prescribed fire.

Training

• Promote and develop training for landowners, agencies, fire departments in the proper use of prescribed fire
• Develop training programs for Oklahoma’s prescribed fire associations

Legislative Advocacy

• Promote and educate policy makers on the ecological and beneficial role of fire in Oklahoma
• Promote the importance of prescribed fire associations to lawmakers
• Provide expert information for any legislation regarding the use of fire in Oklahoma 

Facilitation of Fundraising

• For development of prescribed fire associations throughout the state
• List of funding sources for prescribed fire equipment and expenses
• Preparation of grant proposal templates for use by prescribed fire associations
• Raise funds for training of individuals or groups interested in the use of prescribed fire
